Welcome to Swannanoa Presbyterian

We are glad you stopped by for a visit!!

The First Presbyterian Church is the oldest Presbyterian church in the Swannanoa Valley. Founded in 1794, it has served Christ through much of our nation's history.

Our congregation is small but on fire with the Love of Christ, as we seek to serve and convey that love to the residents of the valley and beyond. Stop by for a visit. Come worship with us. Come share with us the joy and richness of all that a life in Christ has to offer.

We have a relatively traditional worship style. Child care is available, and we have  Sunday School classes for all ages.

February 7th: Communion Sunday with youth mission: Souper Bowl of Caring (please bring donation of food or money  for Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry Food Pantry)

February 14th: Transfiguration of the Lord Sunday w/ brunch at the Madison Inn (Valentine's Day Celebration)

February 17th: Ash Wednesday, Worship Time To Be Announced

February 24th: Our Church hosts Lenten Wednesday noon service followed by lunch

March 28th: Palm Sunday

April 4th: Easter Sunday, Sunrise and Traditional service, breakfast following sunrise service
